Asume el nuevo rector de la Universidad del Nordeste

La Universidad Nacional del Nordeste vivirá hoy el recambio de autoridades. El acto de posesión del cargo del electo rector Gerardo Omar Larroza, está pro­gramado para las 11 de hoy en el Teatro Oficial Juan de Vera (San Juan 637) y asu­me la gestión por el período 2022-2026.

El profesor Larroza re­sultó electo en la Asamblea Universitaria de la Univer­sidad Nacional del Nordes­te, que se desarrolló el 22 de junio. Por 184 votos, de los 187 consejeros presentes en esa jornada, alcanzó el triunfo sobre la candidata Verónica Torres, secretaria general académica de la Unne.

«Tenemos las condicio­nes, tenemos los talentos. Y como hijo de la Universi­dad del Sol, debemos creer y debemos crear ese futuro. Acercarse a él con esfuerzo y gestión», dijo en su dis­curso tras la elección en el Aula Magna del Campus Re­sistencia de la Universidad. «Los invito a ser parte de esta transformación. Tra­bajaremos juntos. El futuro nos une. Muchas gracias», concluyó su primer mensa­je como rector electo.
